Beatrice Afua Asantewaa Agyekum NDC Parliamentary Aspirant , has declared her intention to contest the National Democratic Congress parliamentary primaries in the Domeabra-Obom Constituency of the Greater Accra Region.
She intends to lead a rejuvenation drive to build a strong base for the opposition party “to bring back the zeal and passion that greets the black, red, white and green” colours in the Constituency.
“I am presenting myself as the center that binds, set the Constituency on fire, and uses the flame to light the paths of our children”, Beatrice Afua Asantewaa Agyekum told Isaac Boama Darko on Accra-based Original TV.
She said: “Having served the party in various capacities all my life I hope the delegates will reward loyalty and long service by voting for me during the parliamentary primaries to win the seat for NDC.”
Beatrice Afua Asantewaa Agyekum indicated that she would focus attention on human resource development of the constituency when given the nod to represent the NDC in the parliamentary elections and eventually win the seat.
She described herself as development enthusiast who is recognized in her hometown, for her leading roles in the development of the school, clinic, and construction of a community center.
She appealed to all those who intended to contest the upcoming parliamentary primaries to run a clean campaign devoid of insults as only unity would win the party-political power in 2024.
